Wo0o I just got Resident Evil 4 for Game Cube and I MUST SAY.. this is one of the best Resident Evil's ever made.

This game takes place 6 years after Resident Evil 2. Umbrella has been finished.. supposly and is now out of business. Now, Leon S. Kennedy ( from Resident Evil 2 ) has become one of the President's body guards. The President's daughter has been kidnapped and it's up to Leon to save her. Yeah, the story sounds corny but, it's actually really interesting once the story unfolds.

This takes place in Europe.. I'm guessing around Spain knowing they speak spanish.

Pros +

1) It's more interactive with the player. Meaning you need to constantly watch what your doing or else.. you'll just die immediately. Sometimes a boulder will come crashing down so you need to press the "A" button repeatedly or something along the lines and then dodge it with the L button.

2) The artificial intelligence is SIMPLY AMAZING. They actually aren't real zombies but really people infected with a mutated egg. Well you'll see. Anyways, their A.I. is extremely incredible. They are so smart when it comes to certain situations. Sometimes you can push down a ladder, and they'll pick it back up and climb up it. Sometimes they run up to you and charge, and they also dodge your bullets. Oh yeah.. some of them use firecrackers and blow torches.

3) The music is excellent. There are times where the music is so good, it's so nerve-wrecking to killl something because it's so suspenseful. There was one boss... called "Verdugo" were it has tentacles that come frmo the ceiling. The music score went so in tune with it's attacks that it gave it a much larger impression.

4) The graphics are amazing also. It really feels like that place exsists somewhere else in this world

5) The bosses are more challenging. It's takes more "logic" to kill them than just blasting them with guns like in the previous resident evils. You have to think and use the environment around you to kill them. There are also regular enemies that wield chainsaws.. and with one hit, you're dead.

6) The camera view.. IS SO MUCH BETTER. The controls are easier.

7) This game is overall more challenging. The "Los Illuminados" as they say, drop items when you kill them so, you aren't at such a loss when you've run out of items. There is also a shop keeper form time to time to help you on your journey & larger inventory. YES... =D

Cons -

1) No more zombies =...

2) It's not really scary as I perceived it would be. I thought Fatal Frame and Silent Hill 2 were more of the horror factor. This game is just more of the action and suspense =D.

I would highly recomend buying this game. It's one of the classics =D.

Thanks for the review. I was undecided on buying it, but I guess this is a must! What do you recommend for a real spine chilling Resident Evil game?

Hmm the most scary for me were Resident Evil 1 & 2. Resident Evil 3 was a little scary.. it was just suspense also because you have "Nemesis" running after you lol.

If you want real horror, I suggest you rent/buy "Fatal Frame" or "Silent Hill 2".

btw it's "soRa" lol =D.

Lol. Thanks for the recomendations! I'll try checking them out sometime.
